I haven't been at the regionals long (less than 2 years)...getting ready to upgrade soon. And then plan on going to a major just like everyone else. Career progression. I sure wouldn't start talking sh!t to other regional guys after I got out....especially if I went to Spirit...lol. So, what the hell are you even talking about? Mind your business. Your dismissed.

Better be careful. He'll get his pants in an uproar and go running to holdings management demanding that you be fired.......

Must be a joy to fly with. But I'm sure that attitude fits in real well at Gojet.....

Its easy to sit here and call each other out! Be careful what you say because the person you are talking about maybe your boss. I would guess the way hiring is going at TSH we will soon be doing the Republic dance and flying under one certificate!

Uh oh the Trash States butt buddy brigade is here. Btw you guys better be careful coming to LGA. You all sound lost lol.

Who got lost and almost killed everyone on a CRJ and 737 in a runway incursion, boss? TSA doesn't fly CRJs, so even at your IQ you can figure that one out. Dumbazz.

Oh look the 1500 hour CFI new hire is here. How does that big 145 feel compared to your 172? You must feel important. I'm sure your Instagram is full of pictures showing how cool you are.

I believe if were calling each other out, a few years ago who kept running out of runway in Canada?

Didn't come from being a CFI, chief. Took a large pay cut from a well-paying corporate job to come here with the intention of going to a major. Bold statement for someone with your username...

Not shying away from the fact that TSA had overruns. I wasn't there when it happened. But I'm not comin' on here calling all your pilots pu$$ies, either. You guys about killed 200+ in a runway incursion, we waterskiied metal off a runway, multiple times. Guess what? TSH is still one of, if not the only, regional without a fatal accident. If you wanna call us out for a fumbled radio call in LGA by a crew or two and that helps you sleep at night, more power to ya. We ALL screw up, you don't have to be a doooosh about it.

It's interesting that you trash G7 over the runway incursion since that CPT (a friend of mine and a good pilot) came to G7 after being furloughed from TSA. We all make mistakes, some of us get through them without hurting anyone or getting in trouble sometimes unfortunately we dont. Most of us are not at the regional were at due to principal. It's usually timing and who we know.

First of all you don't see us G7 guys all over your forum trashing you guys. All you guys do is hangout on ours and whenever someone ask for info you bash us. Wait until the day we both merge and you'll be flying right seat to one of our guys then we'll see how tough you really are. I'm done wasting my time on here.

bmentavlos 04-09-2015 06:46 PM

RamRod , I have called no one out! It seem that a ton of guy hiding behind usernames that are throwing out misleading facts about both G7, TSH and the rest of the industry! The best part is most of the so called original GoJet pilots have moved to the majors (thats right if you came to GoJet you could never get to a major)! This whole argument is mute, and in the near future we all may be working under one certificate.

It's not about that it's all the posts you constantly make as well as your little friends. To tell you the truth you all can hate us all you want. We really don't care. Plenty of guys leaving here each month to majors and bigger and better places. That says alot right there. Wake up homie it's not 2005.

It's reading this tread that makes me so happy that I'm not in the regionals anymore.

I'm being honest when I say no one cares where you came from (and yes, I was a GoJet guy). Now, I fly with TSA guys, and they could care less that I was a Gojet guy. We go out and have a good time and are both thankful that we aren't in the dumpster fire that is the regional industry.

This thread was created to help GoJet pilots. To the TSA pilots who keep trolling, why not work harder on interview prep or something to get you out of TSH instead of being a dick to the G7 guys?

Notice how it's the same few guys too? Just don't feed the trolls. Obviously something happened to them, maybe someone at gojet screwed their GF or ran over their dog or something.

I doubt gojet guys can even find the hole. And based on most of their taxi skills, doubt they even came close to the dog.

Don't say feed the troll, when you take a swing yourself.

I find it ironic trans states Pilots knocking the GoJet crew for the ORD incident. As if that's never happened to them. Glass houses guys.

Actually it started with the Gojet guys knocking TSA over a couple of incidents in Canada...works both ways

I don't recall us damn near causing an accident with major casualties though.

And I get my posts flagged for flame bait and foul language. WHAT THE FUKK! :)

This is awesome though. The fact that we can get under their skin so easily is satisfaction in and of itself.

LineUpAndPay 04-11-2015 03:31 PM

Not trying to incite anything, I had just not heard about this yet, but can someone provide some details on the runway incursion at ORD? I can't find any reports.

TalkTurkey 04-11-2015 03:46 PM

I'll never get why airline pilots are like street gangsters from rival gangs. Legacies are not exempt from this attribute. Look at USAir, et al. Just last night I was in a delta jumpseat when the CA referred to "those F-ING Atlanta crews."

We also refer to the CRJ as the CvRJ as well. It doesn't mean we have malice or haven't flown that aircraft in a past life.

TH67DoorGunner 04-12-2015 10:25 PM

So would it be a bad idea to ask in my interview with GoJet about some of the problems that have been presented in this thread (and on this forum)...

When, at the end of the interview, the HR person usually asks "Do you have any questions for me?" should I ask about some "questionable" former employee treatment stories I've heard and then gauge her reaction? I'm usually pretty good at reading people and seeing them try to lie or make something up on the spot...

I've just heard so much crap on here about GoJet that I find it hard to believe that the majority of it is true! I find it hard to believe that the regionals are a "Union Industry" and yet people can be fired for taking medical leave for injuries, or taking leave to care for their family members, or being injured on the job and then FIRED immediately after it happened... HOW could this sort of thing go on and not get MASSIVE media attention?? How are the unions not getting involved to straighten out managment and make sure that the employees remain EMPLOYED?!

I realize that there are some GoJet pilots on here that do love their jobs and do just fine on a day to day basis (I genuinely HOPE I can do the same thing if I am offered a job), and even I realize that no matter where I go in the regionals - It's gonna SUCK... The pay is going to suck, the hours are going to suck, being away from my fiancee / wife for long periods of time will really suck... But of all the advice I have gathered from regional pilots, the MAIN item seems to be "DO NOT COMMUTE IF POSSIBLE"....

I live 15 minutes from a GoJet domicile (KRDU)... The next closest domiciles are KGSO (Republic) and KCLT (PSA)... GSO is about a 1.5 hour drive from my front door... Charlotte is 3+ hour drive (probably a crash pad as well)... With that being the case and my options, What would you do?

I wouldn't ask in quite the same way. If you want to ask a question of the interviewer say something like, "what made you choose Gojet." Or how has your expirence been with Gojet. That will get your answer without seeming confrontational.

I have been on your shoes and I chose G7. That said, you seem very hesitant. There is animosity among a good deal of regional groups. The regional industry has a large amount of companies fighting for the same flying. Bottom line, there is always going to be someone to tell you that you made the wrong choice by going to X regional. The good news, is the majors could care less. Majors look at all regionals as a stepping stone and don't care which one you went too.

My advice? Go try G7 since you are driving to work. If you don't like it, then quit and go to another regional.

Go in there and ask them the tough questions. If you want to know the answers to these questions, definitely don't hold back. I asked my interviewers some tough questions when I interviewed at my current airline, and they were definitely taken aback, but they did their best to answer them and ultimately offered me the job.

The fact that you even have to ask these questions is a huge 'red flag'. Remember their union is basically useless. They don't have ALPA. It sounds like you're military, so you may be at a major quickly and escape Gojet unscathed.

If TH67DoorGunner wants he can get the complaints off of the internet. There is Cuff v. Trans States Holdings, and Gojet, South v. Gojet, Hall v. Gojet, Newland v. Gojet, Davis v. Gojet, and more. It only took me a few seconds to find these.

It seems to me that many many people have made this known and TH67DoorGunner still doesn't believe it. I think he should go and keep everyone here posted as to what happens. If they know he is doing that he will probably be left alone and things will work out well for him! With a name like TH67DoorGunner he obviously wants to take a risk when he does something.

Who wants to ruin their career by going there?
