They didn't even provide hotels at one point. Talk about desperate pilots

Must be nice to live only in the present. XJT, along with other regionals, used to have pay to play. And this means a whole lot coming from a GoJet thread....

Since most of the pilots that had to experience the "no hotel" Compass either are at Delta or upgraded already, I think they made out quite nice.

Maybe, maybe not. The regional crystal ball is always fuzzy, no matter the market.

True but why do you need a crystal ball to tell you that GoJet should be at the bottom of the list of Regionals to work at? It has always been and still is very clear that there are very few reasons you'd want to put GoJet on your resume. Yes, it can work out but why risk it? Especially now where candidates have their pick of airlines, with much higher pay, better QOL and just as quick upgrades.

[QUOTE=FirstClass;2043371]Omg is that a serious question? What pilot would accept that?[/QUOTE

It's a serious question....Anybody have the answer on how HOTAC is handled during training?

I know some of yall are not going to listen to me but I'm going to say it anyway. Do not come here!

I don't know what it is with people that when you say "look, there is a dumpster that is on fire!" for some reason people feel the need to go check it out for themselves. Trust me, it's a dumpster...and it's on fire...you don't need to see it for yourself.

I didn't believe this place could be as bad as I was told. I live in one of the bases and it got me out of flight school. Now after fighting for my pay month after month, taking some of the most ridiculous check-rides I've ever seen and getting thrown under the bus every time something unusual happens before the facts are even known I'm getting out, and hopefully soon. It's criminal the way this company treats its people in department.

Nice crews though. Legitimately nice folks in my base.

I can't remember for sure which, but I seem to recall either XJet or Envoy has double occupancy during training.

Again, would you really expect anything else from a company that was formed to subvert the TSA pilots in 70-seat payrates and staffed with TSA pilots out of seniority?

It's good you are giving people the truth, but I'm never shocked to see people who go there thinking somehow it will be a great place to work.

Band of Brothers syndrome - a hallmark of a poor place to hang your hat.

I'm not known to defend GoJet, but you have no clue what a private company's CPA says and what its associated penalties are. Delta can't just yank the flying if it would be in violation of the CPA and would open themselves up to millions of dollars in lawsuits.

Perhaps, but all of the DCI carriers have to show their performance numbers, and there is a target number given as part of those charts. GoJet is consistently well below those targets. Odds are very good that contractual targets aren't far off from those shown on the charts. Look at Republic now being sued by Delta for poor performance in violation of their CPA.
