GoJET the real story.

Personally, when I resign, I would prefer my Chief Pilot to say:
"I wish you weren't leaving. You have been a great instructor and check airman, and really helped us out in the safety department. The new hires that you mentored will miss you as well. I know that you will do great, and I can't believe that you got hired by your legacy of choice after only 3 1/2 years at a regional. It must have been that letter of recommendation that I sent them, but it was well deserved. Have a great career at United/Delta/FedEx!"

They did say something to that effect when I left. After eight years they knew exactly who I was and were happy for me. Every airline has that small percentage that seem to like painting a bullseye on their back, being one of those people doesn't help your career advancement. I've only been at one 135 and two 121 operators but I've seen them at all three jobs. And no, I'm not talking about the Union/Association volunteers, I'm talking about regular line pukes who just seem to want a reserved seat (or piece of carpet) in the office on Monday morning.

In case you did missed it though, the current director of operations was a check airmen at one point in time. He was removed from his position as a check airmen because of his condescending and disparaging remarks towards females. Another example of the behavior of the two individuals that currently hold the position of chief pilot and director of operations at GoJet.
Hopefully this time it will not be deleted.

They have been considering that for years. GoJet always seems to pull it together at the last minute. Wouldn't surprise me though. I've been in and out of Detroit all week and usually I see at least 3 cancels a day. So far today yul and yyx cancelled. Had to cover msn for them yesterday

Probably deleted because you don't provide any evidence to support what is a clear case of libel. Libel is illegal and regardless of what you may think is an anonymous forum, the person you are defaming does in fact have the right to pursue legal action against you. The mods most likely deleted your post in an attempt to protect themselves from legal action and to protect you from your own decision to post derogatory remarks with the intent to harm another persons reputation.
In regards to that person, everything is absolutely true as I have had my fair shares of run ins. Thankfully never again and not ever at my airline.

So I’m one of the Compass guys that have been placed into the hiring pool. Initially I wanted to wait for Compass as I’m on the West Coast however there doesn’t seem to be much if any movement there. Being offered positions at either GoJets or TSA I was favoring GoJets because of the bonus and what I thought was a junior FO base in DEN. Now it seems looking at GoJets Den is senior and TSA is offering a much larger bonus and junior Den base. The money is not as important to me as a short commute, can anyone confirm junior bases at either for both FO and CA? Thank you in advance for any input. Lastly I have done my research and I’m well aware of the stigma of these two choices, I do have my own reasons.

From: 6 Train - Panhandler
Just the other day a captain decided to delay a flight and have maintenance called due to a strap for a portable oxygen canister being unsecured.they could have secured it. But that just goes to show how much that captain cares for her company. IN MY OPINION. No legal action required
