Default Polymer is nice, but steel....

Steel is reliable, it is heavy but when you run out of ammo it makes a nice club. Thanks Borris.

Love it or hate it..

I love it by the way. Typical of gen-x I like my cold steal surrounded by exotic [dated] alloy castings and polymer [sorry Jungle]. Least I had the taste not to bring in one of those 1911A1 x Polymer things, right?

I had an A1xM203 and later a straight A1 as a work rifle. I have seen problem 'candidates' become proficient* due to 1/2 an hour alone with an M16. And they remained proficient after returning to 7.62mm rifles..... They all retained a fondness for this rifle.

Oops, I forgot, porn. I chose a threesome with miss conservative..

and this wildcat. heh, like what I did there?.. wildcat ammo and.. never-mind..

Miss conservative should be blonde [tan] and wear glasses [ACOG]. minxy-babe can be dark, light weight and flexible...

*Army Reservists, god bless em. It was so common it was nick-named M16 coaching...

Cuirious, I though Australia used the Steyr AUG as a service rifle and "subjects" were restricted from ownership of Category D: Semi-automatic centrefire rifles, pump-action or semi-automatic shotguns holding more than 5 rounds. Functional Category D firearms are restricted to government agencies and a few occupational shooters. Collectors may own deactivated Category D firearms.

Does this mean you don't live in Australia?

LOL, ya got me jungle, i'm in Florida and pretend to be Aussie, coz they are so glamorous and, ahum, have such 'progressive' gun laws....

Before the Austeyr was the L1A1;

I'm sorry, I thought porn implied fantacy... my bad. I have a old 30-30 and she don't mind my looking at other rifles..

I am pre F-88 [Austeyr] and transitioned. Back then our sectional[squad] weapons were M16s for scouts [x2], L1A1s for riflemen and two gunners and section leader [x6], GPMG M60 for gunner [x1] and pig ammo for all... 'The transition' didn't go smoothly, problems with high ambient heat vs plastic grips. Its a bull-pup so grip issues are receiver issues... Also issues with the 2 stage trigger. Also issues with the integrated scopes. Also issues with the ambidextrous spent ejection system. Many issues. Its a fine rifle now but it had more than its fair share of teething problems.

We're still M16 customers. We use M4's for the Special Air Service Regiment and other 'special' forces.

Tokarev in a Beech. Very nice.
Looks like it was carried in the ass crack of a local for a decade, but my guess is that it was a local buy at $50 dollars and it still goes bang every time.

A ten shot .22 revolver with tweaked innards, because everyone needs a good putter.
