Your level of ignorance is well beyond that of the average educated individual capable of critical thinking. Therefore, there is no use in even trying to educate you on reality. However, I do want you to know that the best thing I have done in life is burn 7K lbs of JP-8 in the span of 30 mins, many times over.

What proof do you have that had the government not stepped in and done anything that civilization would have come to an end around 1995-2000?

What did the government do to stop the ever increasing population? And what did the government do to prevent 100-200 million deaths a year by 1989?

I don't know what is worse; blaming everything bad that has happened on Bush, republicans, capitalism, and the free market, or your only answer to anything is more government to fix all of our problems. It is very sad and very comical at the same time.

The scientists at the US Geological Survey and the majority of other scientists disagree with Plimer's opinion on volcanic emissions vs human produced emissions' effect on climate. A simple search shows studies and debates in which Plimers ideas are debunked.

Human economic activity releases something like 30 giga tons (10^9) of CO2/year. The total CO2 released each year is just under 800 gigatons/year; this total includes human economic activity, animal respiration, organic decomposition, and other releases from soil, rocks, and the oceans. Thus, CO2 released by human economic activity is about 3% of total annual emissions from all sources.
Almost all (more than 98%) of the CO2 emitted into the atmosphere is reabsorbed each year. The CO2 left over is the source of the increasing atmospheric CO2 about which some people are concerned.
