I always say hi to the FA first and ask if I can go up front to ask for a ride. It's just really funny when they nervously shove their way in front of you to block the cockpit.

checked into a courtyard and there was a guy in a leather jacket with his david clarks around his neck. i wanted to send my lisence back to the FAA right there.
