I don't have an issue with his life being ruined IF he's guilty. A guy his age with kids who doesn't know better than to do what he did would probably commit full-on rape if he thought for sure he could get away with it. He'd probably do anything at all if he could get away with it.

My issue is that the whole case is very much he-said/she-said with no objective evidence whatsoever. I think he's guilty, but not beyond a reasonable doubt and I don't really think you can achieve that standard in this situation.

Honestly, it depends on how attractive the teacher is. Same with the groping. If that makes me a pig, so be it, but I can't control how creeped out I'd be in different situations.

Again, it boils down to not having to worry that the groping will escalate beyond some threshold. In the back of my mind, I know that I'm ultimately in control with how far down the path it goes. If I want it to stop, I can make it stop. Of course a female in the reverse situation can't always say the same thing.

If I thought I was in danger of being raped, I'd absolutely have a problem with unwanted contact, even by an attractive woman.

It's a whole different ball game for women. As a rule, they're smaller and weaker. They, unlike you, have internal sexual organs that can be forcibly violated.

Why is it when a male teacher violates a female student, you are nauseated, but when a female teacher does a young male, you secretly wish it had been you?
What in the hell are you talking about? No one here is discussing rape.

By the way, Samuel Colt made us all equals.

Ok, let's clear this one up. I've seen one female teacher out of the many mug shots in the media that I'd secretly wish it had been me at that age. The rest of the pack were ugly, fat, nasty hags that I'd be in therapy until age 90 for ever getting near them.

The one? That FL blonde FL hotttie teach, Debra Lefave. I don't care how many million times you look at it, that one gets a pass. Your average overweight, late 40's, hair losing slob would love to walk around saying, yah' man', that was me she was nailin' as a kid

Yep, and on the flip side, when you're a 51 year old famous actor, you can marry a 16 year old.

Or if you're Ted Nugent, you can adopt a 17 year old just to have sex with her.

Do you think someone should be convicted of drunk driving or weapon possession if the only evidence is the testimony of a 17-year old accuser? Even if the accuser has no reason to lie?
