[QUOTE=Packrat;1697546]And you are a typical pilot apologist who thinks "sky gods" can do nothing wrong. Plenty of pilots have deviant kinks, some worse than others. There have been regional pilots (such as yourself) who have been busted with huge files of kiddie porn. There has been a case of an Instructor at a major who was discovered with kiddie porn on his COMPANY laptop.

Pilots have murdered spouses and girlfriends then stolen Company jets and crashed them.

I personally saw a FedEx Captain bring his VERY YOUNG Chinese girlfriend/hooker to the hotel (free) happy hour night after night every week. How about the numerous Captains out there (you know who you are) who either can't keep their hands off F/As young enough to be their daughters OR bring their local hookers to the layover hotel bar.

The problem with you, cencal, is you are WAY to young to appreciate how horrific this kind of behavior is. You won't be able to apprecate it until you have teenage daughters. Until then, you're just a "boys will be boys" member of the pilot frat who see nothing wrong with "getting some" in whatever way gets your rocks off.

Disgusting.[/

Bravo !!!

LNL, I have been groped by women probably far more times than your daughter has been groped by men. Men rarely report stuff.

I've been groped by women too, and many times it's uncomfortable, but it *is* different, IMO. I don't claim to be particularly buff, but at the same time I also know that if needed, I can easily overpower just about any female I'll ever come in contact with. So while it might give me the willies if some woman makes unwanted contact with me, it never actually scares me. I can see how things would be different if the shoe were on the other foot.

We're still talking around the issue though. Its not the morality of groping or if victims deserve justice after an assault or how that is defined. The issue here is getting a felony rap (even an arrest record, which these days is almost as bad) simply from one person's verbal testimony and nothing else. That is completely unacceptable for anyone for any issue. That makes it a guilty until proven innocent system and that is a far greater threat to freedom than the occasional guilty person going free because their guilt couldn't be proven. Follow that line of reasoning that justifies that kind of guilty until proven system to its logical conclusion and the entire Bill of Rights has to be shredded but that's ok because "if it saves just one life…"

Yes. Having a drunk girl give you an unwanted kiss or grope is a lot less scary or annoying, and yes, it does happen to males a lot.

A more correct analogy is a big gay male who may have a gun forcibly making sexual contact with you. All of a sudden it gets repulsive quickly, right?

Anyways the responses by a few here are exactly how this tragedy gets blown out of proportion, and why the judge did what he did to the cheers of that crowd. This also why in many legal systems one or two people can be thrown out of juries without reason by each team. Nobody is defending sexual predators. Nuances are lost on those with "agendas."

I further agree. I'd argue that the sex offender registry could be worse than the felony. He can't live in many communities, he will likely never be hired again. He is lumped in with rapists, child molesters, and murderers. We also have to now pay for jail time. But that is other peoples' money, right?

For the "think-of-the-children" crowd, think about the now convict's high-school daughter, who will never have friends over to the house ever again, who will be ruthlessly teased about her buns-grabbing daddy. It is not a setup for success for her (innocent) or this family. They may have to move if they are less than 1000 feet from a school or day care, or if their private community forces them out.

Yes, I would argue this judge ruined his life, when it could have been a reasonable outcome (maybe something like 5 year probation, avoiding females < 18 years old, 200 hours community service + court costs.)

Seriously, you guys? "Ew, I got groped by a girl!"

I'm betting ALL of you bragged to your buddies, "She couldn't keep her hands off me!"

It's a whole different ball game for women. As a rule, they're smaller and weaker. They, unlike you, have internal sexual organs that can be forcibly violated.

Why is it when a male teacher violates a female student, you are nauseated, but when a female teacher does a young male, you secretly wish it had been you?
