Could be wrong, but I believe the guys was a scab. I think that brings a particular brand of irony to wearing a the ALPA lanyard/pin.

So let me see if I understand this. He's an alleged scab... right? ALPA allows him, provided he is current with his dues, back into the fold... am I right? ALPA doesn't endorse the crossing a picket line... right? So there's got to be "the rest of the story".

Not alleged, confirmed. I can't speak to his dues status, but he could have gotten that lanyard anywhere.

And any member in good standing should have and still hold the chap's feet to the fire for wearing the lanyard and pin under false pretenses.
