I am 46, Commercial single, Multi-engine land, former CFII looking to re-enter the aviation industry. I have 2889 hours mostly flying single engine Cessna equipment. I have recently finished my biannual and IPC, and I am looking for a good way to hone my instrument skills without breaking the bank.

Howdy! I've been flying 5+ years in GA for business travel in piston single. 61 yrs old. Retired from business ownership in oil business. CFI/CFII/MEI at a busy school this year and now at ATP minimums. Starting FO training at a regional in 30 days and my wife and I are excited! A month ago, we had no idea I would be doing this, but here I am!

Hello All, Army AH-64D Pilot here that is one year out from retirement. Have been flying FW since April this year in pursuit of the 250 FW PIC hours in the right mix to head over into the airlines. Have finished Private Pilot SEL and am working on Instruments right now 90 hours flown with about 60 FW PIC. Plan on being up to Commercial Multi-Engine with 250 hours FW PIC in the right mix by July 2018. Look forward to learning about the good, bad, and indifferent of commercial aviation.

I am winding down my first career of 20 years as a Police Officer. Several of the people I know are pilots and I am considering getting my certifications and accruing the hours I need over the next 5 years to hopefully get on at a regional.
My question: Does anyone know what the normal pass/fail rate for new hire First Officers in their initial training (ground school, sims etc)?
Thank you for any information on this topic.

Greetings all,
Military pilot getting ready to retire and pursue an airline job. Been reading through these threads for years, finally decided to join up and start asking some questions. I'll retire with about 2500TT in military fighters and trainers, almost all of it turbine PIC. No civilian time except my PPL and ATP training.
I'll be commuting from OKC no matter where I get hired, so I'll be looking for threads regarding which airlines, domiciles and aircraft are best for that. Also looking to maximize time at home while still flying a full schedule.
If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great, otherwise I'll just continue trolling and maybe start a thread of my own.
Thanks for all the great info over the years. I look forward to contributing.
Cheers!
