I recently went to my second interview at Spirit Airlines. I did an interview prep this time and had 4 internal recommendations. 2 of which were my co pilots a few years ago. I just got the thanks but no thanks today and I am litterally crushed. My first interview with Spirit was in September and I did not have a four year degree but was working on it. I finished my four year at the end of May and went to the second Spirit interview July 7th. I am on here in hopes of finding anything to help me get on with any major now. I have almost 9,000 total time and have been told by a recruiter at Jet Blue I have too much flight time. I feel as though I am in a rut I will never be able to get out of. I am looking forward to learning what I need to do to help me further my career.
Thank you so much for sharing, this is a great start, let me know how I or the Community can help! And good luck on your search!! Nick

Default Introduction

Hi,

I'm an FO flying CRJs for a well known regional connector, just over 15 years now, and have over 7600 hours total time. I love my job and the people I fly with, but times are changing, so I'm looking to move on. Since commuting is inevitable, I'm looking at operators that offer long trips followed by long off-duty periods to reduce commute days each month or companies with bases in cities I would like to call home.
