That is correct. Don't sweat the 141 rides, they don't count. It's Part 61 rides they are looking at.

I'm just reiterating what I was told by a recruiter and someone who interviewed during the 08 hiring. They told the person interviewing that they wanted our schools logbooks as well because it includes our training record. Basically "failed" stagechecks are recorded and marked as "Unsatisfactory." Even though it is not a pink slip, they wanted to see about them. I am not sure to what extent they are considered, if at all but they DID want to hear about them since they still consider them "failed checkrides." Again, this is just what I was told back then. Maybe something is new or different.

If you compare your app. Look at the education requirement check mark in the American Eagle column. It won't check it off in your column unless you have a bachelors degree. Not at all unreasonable, but as it says at the top of the form. This is what the airline has set in thier system, and I would assume is being used to filter apps at this time. It obviously could change as it isn't a hard requirement, just a preference.

Ok the million dollar question is has anyone been interviewed in 2010 without a four year degree?

Curious of how many received phone calls for the March 15th and 29th classes. Sounds like there were supposed to be around 12 new hires for the 15th and so far around 6 for the 29th....anyone else heard a number estimate?

Also, the new vacancy bid comes out as of the 15th correct?

From my understanding the latest flowplan is out and I believe the vacancy bid comes out next month but I'm going off second hand info.

Thanks for the info. I am probably in the Mar. 29 class and trying to avoid the ATR at this time but will take it if only option.
