I don't think you're hired until you start training. You probably have an offer of employment. CONGRATULATIONS!

So far everyone who interviewed has been accepted (the 1/20/10 folks are going today). We are waiting on the background check & CA review board before we are officially hired. Anyone going for an interview next week? CFI, Furgh, 135?

You're not hired until the first day of class. Congrats on your conditional hiring though.

how much longer until we hear the results of the arbitration? any speculation on which way the decision may go?

roughly 6 wks before the meeting w/arb but usually 6 months beyond for any agreement barring one outside of arbitration. Not likely though, my bet? 50 more would go, but that info and $2 will get you a cup of jo at Starbucks.
some think 244 will go

haha not likely. i don't think the capt in lga with 28 years of seniority is rearing to go sit reserve on the other side of the terminal for less than 50% of his salary.

looks like they'll be going over at 4th year pay or maybe even 5th by the time its all said and done. that pay is equal or close to what he makes now and he would be sitting RSV working half as hard, at home most of the time and have 401K plus a pension. hmmm. choice seems easy to me. most guys i talk to out here in ORD cant wait to go.

Look how long it has taken to get to this point we are at today with the flowthrough deal. I would be very very surprised if any Eagle pilots set foot on AA property before 2012.
