Einstein your self-disclosure is admirable, if not somewhat tardy.

The reference to Airways not flying King Airs reflects the lack of input & insight likely to be had by Aviation King Air personnel...

I know people at Airways too whatever.

hmm I'm voting for the "not a full deck" comment.
Dynamic Aviation side flies tons of king airs, I'm not sure that Airways division does.

Yeah... I tap out, out of shear boredom.

How would you rate yourself at Analysis on a scale of 1-5...

Airways flies the 767

Aviation flies the light twins

The thread that precipitated this high level analysis asked about AIRWAYS what in the hell do you guys know besides hearsay.

Carry on

Does anyone have any idea how likely it is to get on with Dynamic given the looming DOD budget cuts?

I've got my ATP, A&P (IA in Dec) and I hold an active secret clearance since I'm currently working for a UAV company. I even have some BE200 time.

ISR business is good. There may be some programs cuts, but there may also be expansion in other programs.
Also, the wording used to say "All troops out by 2014," now says "all combat troops out by 2014." This was a meaningless distinction in Iraq. Afghans seem to be leaning toward more US support during the transition decade of 2015-2024 as well.
Turnover is high in this business as well.

Contracting out ISR is way cheaper than having the Mil do it themselves. I would not expect any slow down on that front. Actually probably expanding into other locations.
