That's what happens when you have hiring minimums on par with regionals. So every regional Captain, and FO, CFI, and military pilot will apply, because they meet their mins. Curious how many competitive apps they have?

Looks like a marketing scheme to keep people going to flight training... "Oh look honey, you can work for AA right out of college! and look you'll be making 200k+ a year!" Just saying....

Because if you do that, you have ruled out 85% of the military pilots. Why artificially limit your pool when you can just do it through your own filters.

Like proven innacurate psych tests that will rule out lots of great people?

AA first year pay? Really! I don't see how anyone of reasonable judgment would even consider their offer. Race for the bottom!

^^^lol The starting pay could be $1.00hr and thousands will apply. They should do this, then second year pay $100.00hr. What difference would it make.
