Usually, when a company desperately tries to attract new hires by saying how great it is working for them, the opposite is true. It's like, if you need to tell everyone you meet how cool you are, you're not too cool. Why isn't there a "SWAcareers" character on here posting about how great it is at Southwest? Oooh

PSA is the industry leader in safety. It's the only regional airline that has an FAA validated Safety Management System.

PSA contributes to your 401K even if you don't. If you do, the matching is pretty impressive.

Excellent health insurance options.

30 new airplanes coming with the possibility of 40 more.

Wholly owned by American Airlines Group which is run by the (in my opinion) best management team in the industry. Being wholly owned also gives PSA pilots career opportunities that independent airline pilots don't get.

Crew bases in CLT, TYS and DAY. Not bad places to chose from.

The bottom line is you need to pick the airline that best fits what your goals are. PSA is a great choice for many and a great place to work.
Hey psa recruiter- Being wholly owned has gotten psa and pdt nowhere- 2 of the worst regionals out there- Guys: do not listen to this clown.

He-he. Is that you Keith Houk?

Looking at your previous posts, obviously you're a management or HR person desperate to fill pilot slots. I'll give you a piece of advice: posting crap like the stuff above will probably hurt you more than help you. Every guy/gal on this forum sees right through this stuff, and your airlines recent "history" doesn't help you, either. If you want to attract pilots to your airline, treat your pilots with respect and pay them a market wage commensurate with their skills and education level. Until then, get ready for a lot of empty classrooms....

No matter which regional that is discussed on this forum you will find people that have nothing good to say.
Do your homework and pick the airline which is best for you.
Easy, ExpressJet, SkyWest, Horizon, Compass, Air Wisconsin are all better than PSA.

60% growth? I see the 200s going away and the 175s taking their spots, how is that net growth? How being capped at a certain longevity so great? How's higher premiums and copay for medical beneficial? How's stabbing Eagle and every other regional pilot in the back a good place to work???

If you've never worked for another regional how do you know what and where qualifies as a good place to work?

By far the best advice you have given so far. Why on earth would anyone go there if they actually educated themselves on the back stabbing dump known as PSA?

PSA is pathetic and a bottom dweller. PSA is one of the worst if not the worst of the Regional carriers and I wouldn't let my mother in law work at that scum company.

I've seen nothing but valuable information posted here. No need to have it shutdown.

I agree. Let readers see that PSA is so desperate for pilots that they have to resort to sending HR/management guys onto internet forums to "talk up" their airlines. I think all the desirable employers do that, don't they?

I don't see how using all available means of recruiting is desperate.

To me it sounds like a smart "think outside the box" option.

It's not desperate, it's proactive.

Eagle recruiting has a Facebook page. What's the difference?
