Any updates on or if interviews for new applicants after the new year? I'm not in the PDP, just a R-ATP minimums applicant.

Where were you even able to apply? I can’t find anything anywhere other than their cadet thing.

I've also heard great things about Horizon's training program vs. a few others. A buddy is there and he and I both didn't make it through SkyWest's program. But with Q400 pilots transitioning over to the 175, I thought there wasn't much room for new FO hires and my buddy confirmed Horizon is only hiring 2 cadets from their pathway program, which if already meeting ATP/ R-ATP min's one can not apply for it. I applied a month ago and still no word.

President of Horizon at a company meeting had this to say. “ We don’t need first officers we need captains”. “We have a Captain shortage so that is where we are focusing our efforts”.

What do you expect when majority of the upgrades going through OE already have class dates or interviews lined up. I'm curious to see where we are at with the seniority list considering we are halfway through the month and still no update.

I reached my ATP minimums a few weeks ago, still on the waitlist for a class date. They just give me an estimate on when they think I’ll have a date, but don’t actually assign you one.
