Agreed.
And Dave told one of my crew last month at the second-to-last QX factor that a CA base is coming. Not LA and not the bay area.
Sounds like a jet kinda place...

From what I've heard from Dave very recently, first is a socal base, San Jose or San Diego, then Anchorage.

A base in CA for the Q400 would be nice. Not gonna happen though.

You don't see a California Q400 base in the future? I was almost assuming they would open a San Jose megawhacker base to start flying as a feeder for the inherited Virgin flights.

No I dont see any new Q400 base. The MFR base is enough to feed Virgin flights. The Q fleet will begin to shrink. The only base in CA I see them opening is for the E175. Most likely San Diego.

Default Horizon ERJ Domicile

Was wondering what the likelihood and possible time frame of the opening of an 175 pilot domicile in either OAK or SJC?

AAG plays it close to the vest, so you have as much chance of winning the lotto as you do guessing if/when.

The LOA passed by a wide margin.

The new pay rates are supposed to be active now although the company will F this completely and just say oops later.. anyway..

Years 1,2,3 for FOs will be $40,$46,$47.

4.2 min daily guarantee for Q drivers.

15k bonus for pilots on property (not the new hires who already got one).

For new hires it will be 15k for Q400s and 10k for the jet, and the company can raise both to 25k if they want.

Still an endless supply of money in tuition reiumbursement. Horizon will pay for your training if you sign a contract, upwards of 30k. This will still go to court as it doesn't forgive them for violating our contract for the last 5 months.
