Flew it for years. 7 type ratings and this is by far the worst jet I've ever flown from an engineering stand point. But I'm glad you enjoy it!

I think it's an ehhhh plane.
The flight deck is not very comfortable along with the seats. I have no idea why you need to step up to get in it, get rid of that step and it would be better. I was a crj guy so I am more of a bombardier fan. I wouldn't mind seeing a large C fleet here.
But I think the 190 will be leaving us soon which really should not come as a shock.

E190 is terrible. I bid it because my qol is much better on it. You would have hoped that embreaer would have made major improvements from the 145 but nope still terrible.

wouldnt it be easier for blue to buy up a bunch of A319s to replace the 190 fleet ?

Good luck finding delivery slots for any A319/320/321s. That's part of the appeal of a CSeries. Quick deliveries, efficient, replaces A319/320 type flying.

Airbus delivery slots are going to be like slots at LGA/DCA/etc. Very limited availability.

319's offer flexibility but aren't great in terms of economics either. Roughly the same burn as a 320 with 24 fewer seats. Of course there's something to be gained from the flexibility it would offer > 190, it could fly anywhere we go with common pilots.

The C-Series is interesting but new. Could be good once they iron out all the kinks. The downside will eventually be the high lease/acquisition costs and whether that outweighs what has to be a heavily discounted 190 cost to own.

Get on board early with the C-Series and perhaps get a discount? We'll hear the same complaints "Why would we be a launch customer" every time the plane gets a write up. Once the plane becomes successful and proven the cost will surely go up to acquire.

Very true, unless Alaska decides to dump the Virgin fleet then we might have an opportunity. Who knows what will happen in this industry tho.

I'll bet with the Canadian products the foot warmers are standard. That and cup holders large enough to hold a Tim Horton's XL coffee, eh? I'm in!
