While the rest of your points are valid, picking on ACK is likely not. I've been told several times by people who would know that the "island flying" to ACK, MVY, and HYA make more money for us during the summer than any other city.

Um.... Great for JB management and more stock buybacks. Won't really do anything for my career "expectations". Maybe after Delta serves 2/3 of Western Europe from Boston will get real brave and add a 10th departure bank to SDQ.

And most likely SDQ makes a bunch of money. You need money making stations to help build others. It may not be what we what but you go where the profits are and use those to build others. Yeah yeah I know one day and the growth is slow
