While Jetblue Stagnates....

True. While I don’t like flying to the DR as much as the next pilot, I consistently haul high load factors there and back.

As a LAMA guy - this place is nothing like Mesa or GoJet for that matter. (Or so my G7 classmates have said)
It seems like the 5% of our pilot group that will always gripe are 95% of the posters on here.

There’s a lot of negativity on this board as always. Some deserved. As a new hire, I live in base and I am quite happy here with no plans to leave - ever. If I lived in the base of another major airline and was commuting to JB, I would still enjoy it here but would probably be looking for other options.

Guys need to learn to not get so torqued up by the "job" and what the company does or doesn't do. I work as little as possible and when I'm home, I don't put one thought into what the company is doing, haven't even logged into this website in awhile.
This place makes a ton of money, we're getting paid; live within your means and try to work as little as possible.... when your home, don't care a thing about JB. You'll live a lot longer.

Yes, live within what the company is willing to pay you and don't expect a career value on par with your peers at DL, UAL, AA and FedEx.
And certainly don't acknowledge that your total career value is much lower. Just put your head in the sand, imagine things are better than they really are and you'll live longer. I mean, I have fun at work, so everything is great!
Sums up the average JB pilot mentality.

If you put as much time into your job search as you do posting on here, you might be a happier person...
Have a good one.
