Planning on losing 450 to attrition is A LOT. I’ll take the under on that.

That's about how many left last year, right? I'd imagine if hiring slows, attrition would outpace that.

Why sit narrowbody FO reserve for a year plus when you could be a widebody CA elsewhere?

328 last year.


However, we are already at 44 this year and that number is about a week old.

Brand new widebody Captains? Is that really a thing? What could go wrong…

In your guys' experience how does the bidding tend to go?

I will be 28 on day one of indoc and live within ~1hr of BOS. Going to be bidding BOS regardless of airframe (Pref would be 220->320->190). Is BOS typically bid for more than JFK? Or is BOS typically bid on by locals, and JFK for commuters?

Fully understand that it differs greatly class to class but just trying to get an idea of the likelihood of getting BOS out of training.

you should be able to get Boston….. might have to go to the 220 or 190… but it’s doable
