I will be 28 on day one of indoc and live within ~1hr of BOS. Going to be bidding BOS regardless of airframe (Pref would be 220->320->190). Is BOS typically bid for more than JFK? Or is BOS typically bid on by locals, and JFK for commuters?

Fully understand that it differs greatly class to class but just trying to get an idea of the likelihood of getting BOS out of training.

Thanks!
I would be amazed if you did not get Boston. Yeah it might not be on the 320, but surely the 220 or 190 will get you in

If you don’t get it right away I can all but assure you that you can get a base trade within the first month or two.

tons of super junior base trade requests on the list this month. Lots of people looking to swap bases.

and since you actually want the 220 and it’s based in Boston, there is no risk of being stuck in a base with no swaps available.

don’t fear the 190, especially in Boston. It’s a pretty continuous conveyor belt in and out of that seat so QOL will improve fast, likely the fastest of any seat. If the plane goes away, and it will eventually, getting displaced is not a bad thing as the base isn’t going away and you can look at your situation and go from there. You can then fill into your seat of choice, whatever plane you want, and displace anybody junior to you for it, plus you won’t be seat locked.

If given the choice I’d go A220. It’s the best training program at jetblue and medium/long term it’ll have a considerable amount of growth.

The 220 is my top choice I’d given the option!

If you live in Boston I’d go 220. Any where else in the country go 320. If and when the spirit deal comes about you will have access to a lot more bases.

Default Next class drop?

When can we expect the next class drop? Also, how many classes per month are they currently running. I am March 15 and hoping for A320 SQ at either BOS or JFK. Do these tend to go junior or senior. I have family in London so that SQ would be huge to see them more regularly. Thanks in advance for any responses !

320 tends to go senior, SQ usually tends to stay senior, so it depends on your age. Additionally they really haven't had very many SQ slots lately. I think they've had four in the last 3 or 4 classes
