“Least important” for similar airlines. A little history...
UAL had “career expectations” added after a failed America West merger, just before UAL tried to buy USAir. United had over 100 WB airplanes and USAir had 7.
Longevity was added by Brucia from CAL in 2009, since he was worried about the Widebody disparity between CAL and UAL and wanted more of a DOH integration, making him an instant WB Captain, if UAL bought CAL.
UAL isn’t buying anybody, not with 4,000 hires in the next 3 years, unless we buy a fragmented airline.

What I do know is you and I have no say in it.

My next trip is a 2day. 1 leg the first day and 2 the second with 18hr overnight. Pays 13 by the rig. I’m not sure I can stand the abuse! Lol
I also have a 2day later in the month that has 3 legs each day. It's going to pay me almost 16 though.
I did have a 3day recently that had 3legs/2legs/4legs. Yeah I was tired on that last day with about 10hrs duty. I think it paid min rig of 19.
Typical for me is 4 3-day trips a month with average 2-3 legs per day.

This is a period of airline boon time!!! JetBlue began in the worst of economic times. We thrived, grew and profited. 1999-2009. Now, it’s the best of times, yet we stagnate. With excuses, side-steps and let downs. We make grandiose statements and sign side deals that make no sense. (Norwegian Deal) We have 2 neos. 0 220’s They say we’re hiring 3,000 in the next 4 years.
The last 2 days have spurned 16 RSA releases. Heavily focused on BOS and MCO 190. 2 locations where the 2020 staffing model calls for over 20 reductions in 190 Captains in these cities. That’s almost a month of days for reserves in these 2 bases where they claim we’re over staffed.
The bottom line is this company is mismanaged. I’m starting to get very nervous about my future and if I can have a 20 years at jetBlue as a career. I pray to sweet little baby Jesus in swaddling clothes to please please have United buy us. But, I fear that that’s M&A could lead to an Allegiant/ Frontier/ JetBlue ‘Trumponian’ PERFECT DEAL.

2-3 legs/ day is typical for me at SWA. I’ll often do 1 and occasionally do 4. YMMV by base, bidding and trading.
