This thread is a joke. I make like 5 bucks less as my buddy who is an Airbus cpt at frontier. I could swap to the 320 and our other wouldn’t be close to the same. Not only that but I have a line with my fake seniority on the 190 compared to him sitting rsv.

I was making just as much if not more in the B6 'Regional Jet' than I would have in a 320 at F9. Also 12% vs 15% DC retirement That's before you even factor in the costs of commuting, the strain on QOL, crashpads, airport car if you need one etc etc.

As others have said, this thread is a joke. You live next to Boston and you're having trouble deciding?

I'm unaware of b6's work rules but it's common knowledge that f9's work rules/flexibility are superior to b6's which allows that difference to easily be negated.

It's common knowledge that F9's work rules are superior without knowing what B6's work rules
actually are, Got it.

Sorry b6’ers. You may have a higher salary cap but we’re most certainly in the same league.

btw I feel f9 failed big time with their cba pay rates. I fully concur with the post after mine but the indignity showed by some, for the op’s question, is also ridiculous.

Ya’ll ain’t that fancy compared to Frontier.

No one said Frontier is a bad place to work. Recommending someone that is local to BOS to choose Frontier instead is just hazardous advice. Then to say to pick the place that doesn’t have regional jets, when 190 first year pays 50% more than F9 Airbus....and after a year you can transfer to the Airbus at B6.

no one here disparaged frontier, but since you brought it up... spirit is fancy compared to frontier.

someone has an inferiority complex interfering with sound advice

Frontier is about to lose the last major thing in their contract that’s better than JB’s. Line bidding. I had a senior frontier guy on the Jumpseat last week bragging about his 140 hour month because of it. The guys over there that can reliably trip touch everything and credit 130-140 a month are about to get a massive reality check.

My “RJ” allows me to be based at home for $15 an hour less than frontiers 320/321 rates. I worked 320 hours last year and averaged 4 nights away from home a month.

Go ahead and tell someone to commute to frontier instead though. . It would be equally as dumb to tell someone who lives in DEN or LAS to choose JB instead.
