From: 190 captain and “Pro-pilot”

But really this is what set this off.

He’s a reserve captain, makes more money than me, works less, flies to worse places, buys tickets on other airlines.
There is nothing rude in there if anything it leans towards going to Spirit.

LOL, this is about the dumbest thing I've read today. You fly to better destinations than Spirit?? Um OK tell me which ones are better and why. And you "use" your benefits....you mean non-rev. Non-rev benefits, if you can even call them that suck anywhere. Or maybe you're able to use them more often because your loads are lower and that's not a good sign. He buys tickets on other airlines because he goes to places Spirit doesn't fly, you know.....all those wonderful places you fly. Ha ha ha...get outa here

He absolutely has better QOL and makes more. He can take it however he wants. If any spirit pilot wants to chime in Id love to hear it from them. He’s also assuming my friend flies places his airline doesn’t fly to. He’s also assuming he knows my schedule or my friends. He’s also assuming JetBlue flights are empty. His reply is probably the dumbest thing I’ve read today and I read a lot of dumb things.

OMG I just realized he’s an ULCC pilot. Listen man I didn’t mean to offend you. Sorry I hurt your feelings. Work on your inferiority complex and maybe you’ll see what my friends/ your coworkers see when we compare schedules. I did say he’s had it much better and he gets paid more. If you don’t think we have better layovers then you’re not seeing it. Same of non rev benefits. Those two things are minor little things just like having wifi on your plane. I just added minor things as I’m sure the person looking for perspectives already knows the major points.

You must really know me or my friend personally the way you’re talking. Maybe tone down the arrogance or the everything sucks mentality. This was my opinion from having multiple talks with my many friends at spirit. I’ve had no rev benefits since you needed me to get specific about what benefits I was referring to for all major airlines. I’ve used ours much more comfortably since Jetblue doesn’t oversell the flights. Also laying over in Aruba sure beats laying over in Detroit. Again my personal opinion but I guess you know the situations my friends and I discuss better. Some people on here I tell ya. Smh
