Default JCBA - Wishlist

Now that the TA has passed , I am looking forward to the JCBA - apart from money what are some work rule clauses that some airlines have that will be welcome here. What are some things that we are missing out on ?
I know some airlines have longer LCR times, Also should we have voluntary airport reserve in exchange for pay or credit ? Just curious - This is my first rodeo - so take it easy ! Thanks

No airport reserve, voluntary or not.

Voluntary has a way of becoming mandatory over time.

Thanks for posting this!

first off, no way in hell will we agree to airport reserve…. Regardless of what they are offering.

a few ideas….

1) everyone on reserve LCR (long call) Short call conversion 4x per month

2) LCR callout increased to 18hrs

3) sick if called

4) opentime pickup at 150x

5) positive space commuting

6) language for virtual bases

7) profit sharing!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I’ll walk for this)

8) industry leading pay with snap up clauses

9) drop to Zero

10) night override/ Int’l pay increases

11) pay bump for the SQ folks

12) no changes to scope language

13) max duty day limits lowered

thats everything off the top of my head….

😂 no. The only chair I’m interested in is the comfy one in my living room.

I'm not a fan of everyone on LCR it should be bidable. Some locals prefer SCR and obviously commuters prefer LCR. The company needs to pay a larger penalty for LCR>SCR conversions something like 4:12 above guarantee.

This might be our only chance to address health care premiums and deductibles.

FIX THE RESERVE GRID

Reserve Fly first/fly last list, otherwise junior legal reserve gets called for trip first.

give each RSV day a credit value (5hrs is a nice round number) and allow pilots to drop/swap/add days from other RSV pilots or drop into a reserve day pot.

EPS for all RSV pairings that trigger the section, not just last day RSV.

all pairings picked up from OT should pay 150% above guarantee

any SCR callout less than 3.5hrs is approved for short term parking (I believe AS has this already).

any RSV pairing before 10am on day 1 (1400 for LCRs) would pay 200% for the first duty period of the trip

any pairing assigned outside of a RAP would pay 200% for the first duty period

(can you guess that I bid RSV? 😂 )
