"Breaking news, new pilot surprised that older pilots don't want to listen to him cry about how tough he has had it, more information at 6"
I hope you are truly happy at your regional or your 135 job. I hope your family is fully hydrated and well fed. I even hope you don't forget to pack spare batteries for your A20s.

As stated previously in this thread “ALPA does not bargain on behalf of those who are not even yet on property. If the company finds training pay to be a hindrance to hiring they can come to ALPA with an LOA that raises training pay in exchange for enhancements to line pilots' QOL and/or pay.”
Move along now.

I remember back in my check hauling days visiting a buddy of mine in Florida who had an appointment to tour the Comair academy and asked me to go with him to offer an opinion. Aside from the two of us who were dressed like we came off the welfare line were maybe a dozen bright eyed future aviators with upper crust parents. The guide was slicker than a used car salesman in tax refund season. After a walking tour of the facilities, they shepherded every one into a boardroom for the hard sell. Talking about the path to Comair regional, one country club looking family at the other end of the table started huffing to themselves which stopped the presentation and the father boomed out “My son wants to be a Delta pilot….” The salesman started to explain the career path and the late teen shrieked “I want to fly the 747!!!!” There was a moment of silence and I spoke my first words of the day: “Delta doesn’t even have 747s….” (Way before NW merger). The kid looked at me and his face turned red and he literally busted out crying. The salesman shot me the dirtiest look and the parents started consoling him like something out of Willy Wonka. They decided to take a break and we had seen enough to head out.
To this day whenever I hear about a pilot complain about not getting exactly what they want out of this industry I still see those tears. Those sweet, sweet red faced tears.

Given your back and forth on here constitutes over 2/3s of your total forum post history I implore you to grow up and stop acting like an entitled brat. Hiring is starting to slow already, 1 price spike in crude when the IRGC closes down the Straits of Hormuz and the economy will quickly come to a halt and you’ll be begging for any opportunity to escape your regional!
