Drop to zero or GTFOH.

It's a red line.

Yep! Expect the company to pay my health insurance, put my PTO in my PTO bank, and pay to send me to the simulator every three months and keep me current while I fly ZERO revenue hours for the company... Even ONE hour is too much. It's ZERO or burn it to the ground.

I think you're missing the point. I don't know your situation but I have four young kids and having the ability to drop a few trips or credit maybe 50 hrs one month so I can be there for Life vents is incredibly important. Work to live, not live to work. At Spirit we have Red/Green, so it isnt a free for all if the coverage isn't there but we don't allow the company to come up with random Grid requirements either. I'd also like to remind you it's a lot easier to rebuild a schedule when you drop half of it and then pick up from a large open time Pot. Anyway, just something to think about. The idea that just because we are Pilots means we have to be absent Husbands, Wives, Fathers, Mothers etc is ridiculous and you should expect more out of life than working 18 days a month with zero flexibility so managment can "mAximIze ProfitZ" for Shareholders....

Read what you wrote. Then read my last several posts on the subject. I'm not missing anything and don't disagree with you at all...

Show me where I disagreed with this, ever.

Now show me where you couldn't do what you said above with DT-1.

Glad we got that straight! .

I do think we are generally on the same page. If we disagree at all, it isn't by much.
