Because they know exactly how many guys want to bounce off the 190 from the last sys. bid.

They know every elidgable guy is ready to leave the 190. They need to backfill the bottom before they skim the top then close the door and grant bypass pay because it’s cost prohibitive to continue to train.

Training knew this was coming. Flops didn’t wanna pay for it. Now we’re six months behind.

Bingo. And just so we are all prepared I think when training gets too far behind or the company starts to have trouble filling classes they will push the red "deferral" button at HQ.

My opinion.

Excuse me if I missed something from before, but is bypass pay something that's actually being discussed? Or just speculation?

There is no trouble filling the classes, I can assure you that. Trouble on "where" we can train them is another issue which will affect the "when". Defer an airplane that has plenty of training availability does not make sense. Bypass pay?

The difficulty of 190 training due to sims would put pressure on the 320 deferments? Hmmm....

Hmmm. Can they defer again? I honestly don’t know. I thought there was something like we have to take these things. I certainly wouldn’t put it past them. They just can’t get out of their own way. Hey at least they will hold someone accountable this time oh wait never mind but fill out that FCIR in the time window you bad pilots. Oh and whatever you do wear that suiting jacket.

We have a few remaining 321CEOs to take delivery of (supposed to wrap up this year), and the rest of the orders are NEOs. I heard, but don’t know for sure, our first NEO comes in the spring. That buys a little time. But the Pratts keep having issues, so I imagine we can defer again so long as those issues keep popping up. I’m kind of wishing now we had gone with the LEAPs.
