It does, however leave it an open question to what level of work constitutes duty. If you feel like you were fatigued in any way you should duty on.

God, I wish B6ALPA had a pair on this, or really any of our issues here.

Without having the specific verbiage in front of me I do recall it references "your area" with respect to cleaning. In my commuting I simply cross my seat belt, maybe my row and deplane the aircraft in turn. If anyone would question that more was required during a carpet dance would be a fool. Short of the well renowned firing machine in FLL I suspect the remaining CP's wouldn't even touch this.

For the record I was commuting to JFK and Gigity, along with another senior VP, was on the flight. I did exactly what I described above and left. Off with the first 5 rows in turn and never heard a word.

This. It’s not hard. It’s not a big deal. I actually do less. I do my seat maybe my row. Out. Gone. This is not the hill we should be ready to die on. There are much bigger issues.

For god sakes. It’s friggin common sense.

Free ride. Don’t be a slob. Don’t be an @ss. Clean up after yourself. Be polite. Leave. You know. The opposite of most passengers that pay to be rude slobs and expect someone to clean up their mess.

De minimus cleaning it is then. My seatbelt will be crossed and the seatback will be cleaned out.
de minimis(the correct spelling) were Jetblue’s words in their letter to the FAA. “Too trivial or minor to merit consideration” according to Webster. So if the FAs were asked how the turn went, you should have cleaned so little that they wouldn’t even mention that you helped.

Ah, that would be “de Minnie Mouse” cleaning. Any more than that would be Goofy.

Oh gawd the drama....

Nope it’s all pain misery and contempt.

Hate hate hate double triple hate. I shouldve stayed at my regional carrier. Xjt is doing so awesome right now it’s amazballs.
Contract sucks. Totally terrible. Nothing good. Suck suck suck.

Wish I’d have voted no. For the union I mean. The DR was way way way better. The company has your back. Yup. Alpo is terrible. Should’ve voted no on the TA too. We would have totally gotten an new TA by now and the implementation would have been instant and we would have gotten way way way.... WAY more dollars.

We’d have been paid for nothing and never had to work at all. Ok, One leg a day maybe. If that. $350k a year. FO scale of course.
