I agree with you the key to a great contract is both work rules and a good pay rate. We are fine on pay rates for the generation of our contract. Pay rates are always the last thing to be negotiated because they are the easiest to be figured out. Thanks to pattern barging and Delta, United and AA will probably have their contracts or at least TAs in place when we are done. Work rules /pay protections are far more complex and we lead the industry or come close in a lot of this area. Yes I am a self admitted higher end of the pay range Pilot but I don't sit on FLICA and I haven't even had FLICA alerts set up since last year. I just always pick up the phone and don't screen company calls on my days off. In base VDA is where money gets made here. I am more afraid of changing up work rules in favor of pay then the other way around. I hope AA improves their work rules it's a win for the industry but for now we take home more because of their weak work rules. If that new UAL TA is a sign of pay rates to come we should have a nice pay and retirement raise when CBA 2.0 comes our way. JetBlue is a good place to be for earnings, not so great for QOL.

I haven’t flown in a month. QOL is pretty good in my house. Just keep the wife of Amazon and I’m ok. 😂

Default Flight History Addendum

Good Afternoon y’all.

Finally starting to get some traction with B6 and the interview process. After waiting awhile I got the email for the phone screening and shortly there after (about a week) the flight history addendum. I’ve got a checkride failure to put down but I just had a question about one of the instructions. It says “be sure to include any applicable dates or supporting documentation.” More specifically the supporting documentation. Has anyone actually supplied documentation for a failure or is a simple explanation enough to suffice?

You didn’t save the notice of disapproval?

Who saves a letter of disapproval? Serious question, and why would one think that’s expected of them?

lol I might be wrong but I believe that was sarcasm

SoloX531 to answer your question, a simple explanation would suffice.

I mentioned the date, type of checkride, why I failed, and what I learned from it. Nothing more. Anything else they need can be obtained through PRIA.

Also- make sure you mention failures AND Incomplete lessons from ANY training event. Even those you might not have thought about that your previous carrier might mark you down as unsat. Not just your MV/LOE.

Default FO to FO

Hey, regional FO with interview at JetBlue next month. Wondering what people think about moving on to JetBlue or if you should stay and upgrade at the regional? End goal is United or Delta. Want to fly the A320 and willing to relocate.
