There are many at JB who have both and quite a few will bail.

They don't want to invest in pilots. They would rather trap them.

This is actually actually somebody looking at the JB with a very negative perspective. It is not even close to the truth as majority of the pilots we hire have degrees. If they where trying to trap them why aren't there training contracts in place?

The group I interviewed with all had Turbine PIC. Half the group had heavy military time, and all had a degree. Some I believe had graduate degrees. These were not bottom of the barrel candidates.

Does Sterling send you a confirmation email when completed?

Apparently it depends. I did not but I was able to use their online applications with no problems. My buddy couldn't get their system to work so he did most of the paperwork the hard way (hard copies, scans, email attachments etc). He got a completion email where I did not. But I contacted Sterling a few weeks ago just to verify and they quickly replied saying it was finished and submitted to JB. We were Mar 11 interviews.

FWIW, I know of another guy in Phase II who since interviewed, was hired, and has a class date with SWA. There is a really good chance that he will be close to done with training at SWA before JB calls him with a class date offer.

I've kept a pretty thorough list of the 25 feb group and maintained the contacts- a few are in that boat as well (other offers/interviews/classes outside of the regional level.)

Wow, January folks still in the mix!

I just watched Mike Rowe on Dirty Jobs use a furnace to burn a couple weeks of turds and then remove the contents of a Cod stomach. I'm now ok with going to the regionals for a few. Humility restored

Any idea why, without a degree, you wont get past page one of DAL's app, yet at JB, the door is wide open?

Or, at SWA, don't even apply unless you have TPIC?
