Default jetBlue Hiring

What's the requirement ? I have about 700 turbine PIC (Saab 340) and some 200 piston SE PiC, I got in with out questions . Now my résumé had check airmen and other things but still not a 100" pic total. So what is the so called number ?

Just trying to keep up on today's mins for friends .

TPIC not necessarily we want 1000 total PIC that wasn't just flight instructing and 5000 total. More turbine is better but total PIC is what counts.

I've been at JB for over 7 years and have never heard of or met anyone on a pilot hiring board. If it exists, it exists behind closed doors at the crystal palace in NYC.

If you're based in BOS but live in New Hampshire, do you pay MA income tax? Thanks

No. As an airline pilot you only claim income for the state in which you reside. Their is an exemption for pilots in the tax code. The only way you'dpay tax in your scenario is if 50% or more of your flying is within the state of Massachussets. So, if a Cape Air pilot lives in NH and is based in BOS and does a majority of his flying to ACK/MVY and P-town then that pilot would owe MA taxes. However, a JB pilot living in NH and based in BOS would not owe MA taxes since the majority of his flying would not be solely within the state.

Clear as mud?
