Just curious, I know no one has a crystal ball, just trying to keep my expectations in check...
Current qualifications-
1800 TT, 1500 turbine 121, 250 PIC, E170/190 PIC type rating (BE1900, SF340 SIC types)
I'd say by the end of 2015, I'll be at 3000+...Do I have a shot at being competitive (without TPIC time) within the next year/two? I live on Long Island so I'd love a JFK base. I know it's a stretch, just trying to have realistic goals I guess...

Thanks. Guess it won't hurt to keep the apps up to date anyway. Like everyone says, I've heard of 2500-3500 hr guys getting hired from the right seat. Just not sure what else they had to get in the door... At Shuttle we've had a lot of FOs get hired recently. Guess it's hard to tell what the overall hiring trend will be in the future

Don't let anyone get you down, just keep applying no one really knows what they look at when they look at it. Just keep yourself in the game, just apply and keep applying. My 2 cents.

Does anyone know though if the "1,000 PIC" is a new published minimum or just a competitive minimum? It does no good to continue to apply, if you don't meet the new minimum requirement. I applied in the last window, so hoping it's just preferred.

I will say this again 1000 PIC is the stated minimum. However, that could change next week and will most likely change before the next app window. If you want to work at JB fill out the application if you don't want to work hear then don't fill it out.

I'm 11K TT, 6K Jet PIC, 135, 121, Mil, Bachelors competing for same slot. Does that answer your question?

Good luck getting hired with that attitude.
