Couple of years ago I was on reserve, Flica let me pick up a 4 day 24hr trip that help me 24/7 for xmas and then assigned a trip that eventually 100/30 to get 31st and 1st off... Ended up blocking 98 and crediting 122. Don't think they look past a day or or two ..... they are just worried about putting out fires.

The new hire pool "lifeguard" said there were 40+ openings for the 15 Dec class. Hopefully us hopeful prospective pilots hear something soon so we can plan accordingly.

Next classes are Dec 2nd, Jan 6, and Jan 20. Interviews are Dec 1st and 15th. Hiring 250-300 next year!

Question for folks in the know/familiar, what is the average time between first email/call and interview date? Are there any "short notice" interview invites like say two weeks or less?

I stand corrected. Sorry for the misunderstanding. There was a lot of good information being given out. Dec 15 interviews makes much more sense after the brief on the timeline and process for getting hired at jetBlue.
