Probably not out of training.... But within 2 years is doable. Keep in mind it's a fairly small base, way smaller than NY/BOS/FLL.

Thanks for the this.
Any way to tell what the breakdown of aircraft could be for the above classes? Which aircraft have the most vacancies?

Aircraft breakdowns and even class numbers tend to fluctuate quite a bit. That said, in the past it used to be 3/4 of the new hires went to the airbus and 1/4 to the 190. Moving forward, I would expect it to be closer to 50/50 and maybe have a small majority go to the 190.

Guy I worked with previously was in the 10/21 class and sent me the bid sheet....vacancies were: 1 BOS Bus, 81 JFK Bus, 41 BOS 190, and 41 JFK 190. 16 Bus and 9 190s in his class

That will always change as well. In about a month the next system bid will open and guys will likely leave the 190 to the 320 or upgrade and that will change that number a bit.

transfers between bos and jfk are easy so if you can't get one of those in training it won't be more than a few months before you can swap. Just pick the right plane for the base. In my opinion, in bos, the 190 is better for a new hire. In jfk, if you can stand red eyes then the 320 is better.
