If you get the 320 out of training (probably JFK?) what's the average time folks are getting FLL.

In the last system bid, the most junior FO to bid over to FLL had a Nov 2013 hire date. However, there are FOs in FLL as junior as Sep 2014. So a good guess would be between 12 to 24 months.

18-24mo on the 190
it goes up and down with the wind on the 320. tends to be around the 2yr mark.

I see all this talk about JFK/BOS bases, how likely a new hire to get MCO? whats most junior there? How commutable? Hows the flying down there vs. doing red eyes out of JFK?

Yet to hear something back but definitely want an MCO base should i ever be hired.

Won't happen as a new hire...way too many, myself included, looking to base there on both planes. I believe high 2400s is the bottom on the 190 with the bus being even higher out of the 3100 or 3200 we have on the list now. I'm a year in and still 300 or so numbers to get there. Bus has west coast/Caribbean flying. The day trips are senior with the bottom doing the red eyes. The 190 does a lot of the SJU turns flying to the islands with some DCA and other NE turns

Ah cool. Any reason for the popularity BESIDES it being Florida? Crash pads near MCO couldn't possibly be any better than those near BOS or JFK.

Think it's more the fact that it's a hell of a lot cheaper to live anywhere within 2 hours of here than anywhere in the NE
