Yes. 150 new hires for 2016 is the latest number, but subject to change. This is due to lower attrition than forecasted. Also just heard that the next system bid will not have any upgrades again. Company is apparently waiting to see how everything is going to play out. Still have 11? Airbus coming this year. Interviews and classes will continue, but smaller than usual.

That's why I asked what type aircraft. And he said he has been at a regional for 6 months so I'm thinking that the military time was lower since he's been flying civilian for past 6 months.
And yes it has dropped down to only about 150. I'm not telling you my source but that's the number now.

Insight into the G7 and the loyal blue army... By 2020 IF the program every grows wings to fly. You'll have a whopping 20 guys in the program.
Personally that's 20 too many, but I'm not sweating it. Frankly I doubt it makes it another few months.

One of the major pushers is going to JetBlue ventures. The program will die officially after the Brit finishes cleaning house. He has had to do it slowly as bargers people were in deep, but he is doing it.
Next department to be cleaned up is the school house.

I find it hard to believe he did not sign off on that idea. Hopefully it dies. Nothing like intentionally creating bad press for yourself.
