I’m convinced some of the pilots we have would go to a car dealership and pay sticker price. The company runs circles around some of these people. Why wouldn’t the company change the profit sharing formula? Why would they be more inclined to do it any other time? We aren’t hurting them so why wouldn’t they do it? So one throws a furlough rumor and that’s enough to for people to sign for the sake of “no furloughs and 2 percent”. I don’t want myself or anyone to get furloughed but do you guys really believe the company really says oh they want to change something that doesn’t affect us now only in the future? Ok axe the deal and furlough 1/4th of the pilot group? Come on now

Why would the company give up their profits. They’re not stupid. They know this will pass easily without them giving up sh!t.

Because they want the AA codeshare. Or did you miss what we’re talking about here?

Maybe that went over your head. The company knows damn well this will pass. They will get their codeshare and not give up a dime in future profit sharing. Was that clear enough for you Potato Chip?

I think he’s agreeing with us here. On the company side all they had to do is say hey we won’t furlough then act or rumor they would have and that’s that they got what they wanted. So disappointing seeing people just take anything that easily. Again why anyone is arguing against those saying it’s a good time to ask for profit sharing back is beyond me. It isn’t like anyone is saying no just because they’re mad at the company.

This is the only time ever we will get profit sharing IMO. Why we would agree to anything less makes zero sense.
