Surprised you guys missed this.
Hey, if it doesn’t work domestically go long haul.

From your spokesperson: “Demand for air travel continues to be down dramatically”

You were EXACTLY one of those guys saying we would never get profit sharing during the good times and reminding us how Delta got there's during a recession.

Now it's a recession and you are too afraid to take a stand for it now. To even contemplate a furlough is to believe this company is going to completely reverse the course it's set itself on the last 9 months over words on a piece of paper that cost them NOTHING for the next several years.

Off topic, haven't been on reserve for awhile so what is "SCD" for short call guys? Was moved from SCL to SCD the other day and there is a "SCD Tally" column on the DRO.

I searched the contract and comply, came up with nothing. I even called scheduling to ask but two calls and was just put on hold and then hung up on. Some things never change I guess.

on this I totally agree.

If any union rep that said the company will remember our good will during the next section 6 they need to quit.

gmafb you know what they will remember? When we had them we gave in again. F that. They announced the deal they said it is worth a ton of money so guess what, I want my PS that they took away. You are right it’s emotional they Fd us over because they could. Well new rules. I’m a no, unless it’s in there.
Wait, you agree with this? Now I have to change my position as it's obviously wrong...

Correct. Because you need to remain in D silo for 3 consecutive days.

Point 2) if the company can do most of it anyways then I guess the threat of furlough is pretty much BS as they have previously said that the agreement from the last loa was worth 40 airplanes.

So if we vote no what would we give up? An extra year at 2% to go back to the table and try again. I’m willing to give that a try.

The other thing I don’t understand is how will the company offer all of these long term LOAs yet also ramp up all of the flying and bring in a new fleet type.

I’m sorry I don’t buy this well we are just going to furlough 1000 pilots.

Now is the time to negotiate and yeah it may not pay anything for a few years but one day it will.
