Think it’s pretty safe to say probably not furloughing? LR bid on Monday.

delta is recalling all pilots by fall (know that has nothing to do with us)

but apparently the executives think it’s going to be better going forward.

Big reason for me being happy the TA failed. A lot of us could see the furlough protection carrot was rotten. It was plain as day to see that 2021 is recovery year and we didn't need to give relief for any furlough protection. This was company's attempt to get more cost relief along with scope relief.

Let's get this machine oiled up and bring back those VDA, RSA, premiums

yah it would be wild to think that it was ever in their plan.

launch a bid to the LR for august and then furlough a few months later? No way

But you are just giddy about giving more scope relief, and think we would be lucky to get an opportunity to negotiate scope for mere peanuts? Pathetic.
It’s amazing

The wording on the email about supplemental bid is odd. Is this just SQ bid. Or is there going to be something else included? CP says not a displacement and ALPA says a supplemental bid that INCLUDES sq bid...

it would be nice for other seat and base to be in the bid too.

Say what now?

The bid is open to everyone.

I mean unless the company just decides to wipe their *** with our contract again.

You would be wrong about that. Your CBA becomes a “law” of sorts and injunctive relief for blatant over reach is an essential part of the process.

It’s our chance to put our stamp on this if we get to go back. It’s clear that there has been a violation of our CBA and the arbiter should rule in our favor. That being said, the company can take this to court and could drag this out for years.
Why if? Do you not understand the survey is because they know negotiations will resume? Do you not understand the company is posturing by saying they won't resume negotiations? Give it a few more weeks, you'll get your chance to sell FC scope again, maybe they'll even give you TWO bags of airplane peanuts for this "once in a generation opportunity". One bag of airplane peanuts was good enough for 46% of you.
