Very well deserved. I shall try and be the beacon in the darkness!

What are the current upgrade times on the A320?

I apologize if this has been answered recently. I searched around on here through the various threads and did not see an answer to this.

7 years in JFK then BOS, probably FLL, then LA in that order. MCO I’d forget, once the 190 displacement happens you may very well almost need to be able to hold captain in another base to hold FO. Least until Spirit is integrated, then it might change some things.

It will drop to 6-ish to hold JFK 320 CA bt now and December, then it will go back up to 9-12 because of the MCO 190 closure. Enjoy!

How would that be possible considering jetblue deliveries alone will bring the fleet to bigger than it is today in just a few years, even with the removal of the 190? Plus more retirements than the entire MCO 190 base, which is small, but still true.

People are looking for realistic information here, not doom and gloom pessimism based on nothing.

no one has a crystal ball, but I think there will be a large number of A220 and A320 vacancies. That said, we are now trying to get rid of the 190’s as fast as we can. I think there will be a net growth, but with the MCO E190 base closing and likely no back filling in the other 190 bases, it will be an interesting award.

my bet (just a guess) no one gets displaced out of the existing bases and the displacements from the MCO E190 base get easily absorbed. Maybe the bottom couple folks get bumped off the MCO A320 and FLL A320– but only if the MCO E190 guys stay in those bases.

Riddle- what is the thinking among the MCO E190 CA’s on where to go?

I am willing to bet on a number of displacements in FLL and MCO. The consensus among those I fly with, myself included, is we are not commuting to the NE. We deal with the garbage flying and seniority hit to be in MCO for a reason.

You think driving from MCO to FLL is not commuting?
