That's exactly where I'm at. I have no real problem with republicans, I have no real problem with republican priorities... but they should be executed by adults. This dude just wakes up and decides he wants to bomb people. The nearest marines are *weeks* away, but we're supposed to believe they have any clue what they're doing? There was no plan; there IS no plan.
Just wait til Iran hits the Suez or Europe with a missile.

If he does not follow thru on his threat to bomb infrastructure and there is a ceasefire/talks, it’s probably not too late for things to go back to normal. If he actually goes thru with it, I believe any chance of a quick recovery is gone.

A certain foreign government forced his hand. They want this war because knocking out Iran is the only way for them to become a super power and dominate the middle east. That’s what this is all about. There was never any real threat to the US, but we will suffer the consequences with inflation, recession, etc. We are particularly exposed being in the airline industry.

And this goes for any foreign government.

I refuse that statement in bold, mostly agree with the rest. We are the United States of America a.k.a badass mofu$%ers . They tell us we have a strong President. Then say no and stand on business. They still wanna go do it? That's totally ok and their choice, they have their rights as a sovereign country. But we pull aide and refuse defense. We dont need to be a part of it, and we want no parts of it as it does not benefit the American people.🇱🇷🇱🇷

But I'll also ask, which petro country forced this war or forced our hand? Genuinely asking because maybe I did miss something. It doesn't seem like anyone else wanted this war.

I can understand that. However, those petro countries should not have such control over our government that they can choose to go into any war for their benefit and then force it upon us. If they were attacked and needed defense then yeah, similar to the NATO agreement.

None of them did, but this is as much about the petrodollar remaining the currency that trades oil as it is about war mongers trying to say who’s religion is more better. Now there is a mess and petro countries need help defending their stuff so you can keep $2 gasoline. Now it’s in too far. The U.S. citizens are going to continue feeling it at the pump, in the store, on the tollway, at the airport etc. meanwhile Lindsey Graham thinks he’s commander and chief and Loud mouths like Hannity stroke his ego. It’s a freaking mess I agree, but now we’ve got to protect their stuff. Something none of us were sold two years ago “no new wars” and “affordability” and such. It’s a dang good way to lose midterms though.

To go further into your thoughts though, besides the religious part(which I agree with), are you saying we also started the war to keep petro in dollars? Or would that possibly just be a byproduct? Because now Iran is demanding that anyone that wants oil, needs to buy it in Yuan currency.
