Bring it to court MEC.
The fact that JW signed that letter actually made me lose whatever respect I lad left of him. This guy used to be a rank and file line pilot.

Talk about the ultimate “We’ll do it anyway” type of email.

no bueno. We’re already unable to get to breakeven just with the Q1 fuel revision alone.
JP Morgan is anticipating the possibility of $100+ oil through 2027.

This whole “nuh uh” “ya huh” thing seems deeply unprofessional to me. Why did “the company” even need to retort? It’s so childish.

This oil thing might finally be the straw that breaks this camels back. Don't worry though, Jetforward 2.0 will definitely save us.

I suspect they play book is the same as when they told us they had a plan b a few years ago and then had to cobble this thing together in haste while spending company money on over the top meetings and hotel stays somewhere “off campus”. The great recycled brain trust has YOU foremost in mind. There were no less than five excuses of what to blame so far this year and none were named JetBlue in MSG messages yesterday.
I want to say I’m shocked he said we’ve done a great job with JetForward so far, but I’m not. I’m surprised he could say that with a straight face. Maybe the lack of pow wows the past 6 years is why we have an abysmal balance sheet to the point no one is going to touch us even with a stock price that’s in the toilet.

If this admin makes good on their threat to strike Iranian infrastructure tomorrow, and Iran makes good on its retaliation threats, $200 oil is immediately in play. Saudi’s pipelines and oil facilities, there and in UAE, Oman, etc, if destroyed, would be catastrophic.

Call me whatever maga buzzword you want/heard on a podcast recently, but when the president says “the war is over, we’ve won” one minute then says “we’re gonna blow up all your civilian infrastructure tomorrow” the next, I’m not expecting a best-case outcome. This could become another covid scenario for the airlines, and go figure both things happened on the same guy’s watch.

And I really wanted to see the sequel to Jetforward. I bet it’s as good as Caddyshack 2.

You know things are bad when Trump is losing the republican aging airline pilot block.

I've heard more than a couple guys sound displeased with what he's doing, and these are guys who are the very stereotypical airline guy.

I don't care what side of the aisle you're on, but yesterday after Mueller's death was announced the President of the US said "Good, I'm glad he's dead." That's not clickbait or fake news, that's straight from his mouth. A man who served under multiple presidents of both parties, served in the military and was later appointed to do a job (Whether you agreed with it or not) was completely disparaged by our sitting president. That's who I'm supposed to look up to and follow? That's who I'm supposed to trust that he "knows what he's doing" with Iran?

That's exactly where I'm at. I have no real problem with republicans, I have no real problem with republican priorities... but they should be executed by adults. This dude just wakes up and decides he wants to bomb people. The nearest marines are *weeks* away, but we're supposed to believe they have any clue what they're doing? There was no plan; there IS no plan.

Just wait til Iran hits the Suez or Europe with a missile.
