It’s normal to feel like that. Although you asking the questions here, makes me think you are looking for answers to help justify the way you are leaning. So I’ll give you some more:

In 5 years do you want to be commuting to do a red eye turn to a developing world country, or would you like to be driving to work or taking the L train to then be fed HOT food on your way to Europe.

Don’t let the fact that some people who have more instagram followers than hours will be senior to you get in the way and cloud your judgement to what will be a good opportunity for you and your family. Just my 1.65 rupees 🇮🇳

That's just like your opinion man... It could just as easily go the other way. Before the downsizing NK ORD was close to 200 in each seat and it's sitting at 130-140 now.

Literally no one knows what it will "likely" be...

Point being, whatever JB/NK does with ORD it will be tiny compared to what UA does with ORD.

Yes, UA could declare BK and sell off its entire ORD operation to JB for tree fiddy, but I wouldn't count on that either.

I think the bigger picture is: There may be blades of grass that are greener than others on either side of the fence.................but in the Cul de Sac that is ORD....the bigger lawn belongs to the United Household.

Supp bid is out, JFK 220 base opening with 40ish crews. JFK 190 closed. Good movement in JFK/BOS 320 SQ, lots of additional BOS 190 CAs and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it go unfilled (street CA scenario).

....For those who bid for it and want it good for them. If their award involves training: I'm just not sure they'll want it a year from now. It's all good they still complain that they have to go to training twice within a year after being displaced after next years BOS 190 displacement. Even they SHOULD BE VERY AWARE that this is a very probable outcome.

Nothing for the Aug 2023 snap, potentially a few dollars in the 2024 assuming UA and LUV catch up. The thing to watch is timing. If UA/LUV sign a deal after 8/1/23 then their DOS+1 will be after our 8/1/24 snap up date, which would put them in the same category as Alaska in terms of not helping our snap.

If UA/LUV delay a deal or match DL/AA DOS+1 rates(~$351-354/hr) then we should be ok.
