I have a buddy that did upgrade over the holidays last year. He said OSC shuts down for a couple of days and he ended up having Christmas and New Years off. If you had NO chance of getting the holidays off it could be a good time to upgrade. Speaking of vacation let's hope that gets hammered out at the table too. I think it will and some really senior guys who have enjoyed some luxuries are going to be sharing the wealth of having the entire summer and holidays off. Sorry but it was definitely going to end fellas.

Remember they can train you any time from the close of the bid to have you done by the effective date. You may get holidays off. You might still be in your current seat. But you may go to training and be on line in your new seat before the holidays. You don't get to bid for training. You're at the whims of the scheduling gods.

But same equipment transition is only a 15 day course. And if there's "operational necessity" I would guess with an email you could go in November or earlier.
Not saying would happen. But it has.

It says on the top of the bid email that training can start as soon as October.

Just question for jetblue guys. My goal's jetblue and I'm coming up close to mins for regional. I got info that somehow guys from cape air transition to Jetblue. And, I see that cape air actually has ATR 121 based out of guam. If I proceed with that route, would I still be competitive compared to guys that have jet time?
Thank you.
Thank you.
