During my last recurrent training the MCO Chief Pilot told us that while the Legacy's are retiring a lot of people for the foreseeable future, JetBlue has growth and we will see a lot of movement here as well... Most of the people sitting in that room knew that this was nothing more than a dose Blue juice. I really wish that this company would stop lying on just about everything, it causes a lot more harm than good. Lying disfranchises people and put us in a negative state of mind.

They can delay this CBA until they get embarrassed by picketing or the NMB releases us for a strike-and that will NEVER happen.

So they are shrinking JFK 190 CA to 103 but adding FOs to hit 115?
Same for Boston, they want 218 CA but 246 FOs?
Airbus is worse in JFK... 597 to 653.
Why the disparity? Wouldn't captains have more PTO and vacation, thereby needing more Captains? Or they just expect the junior FOs to quit and need more?

I hear from FO's all the time, "Damn, I'm always too late for the RSA/VDA".

B6 retires 28% in the next 15 years.
Retirements WILL happen.
Growth MAY happen.
Choose wisely.

Unfortunately this is not about choice. Just about everyone would chose a Legacy carrier over JetBlue but many of us are still waiting for the call.
