Simply not the case, according to the 3 or 4 former B6 guys flying for them now. More time off, more productive trips, no red eyes, a clue as to how to operate on the west coast, considerable retirements (not legacy level, but far more than B6 will see).

Another snarky post towards one of the pilots you "care and serve".

He made it to one of the big 4 airlines who's W2 earnings embarrass us, badly. They also have a corporate vision for their future that doesn't involve pillaging their employees earnings and bragging about slowing growth to a snail's pace to reward the executive management and shareholders.

He'll be laying over in Hawaii while you're in STI again.

JUST. BE. HAPPY. FOR. THE. GUY!

Everything you said is true. Which you already know, since you've talked to guys that left B6 for SW.

Don't listen to the corporate recruiting machine, he either doesn't know the truth or is spinning. I'm not sure which.

We still have a long hard fight ahead of us with a very determined opponent. And even when it's done, well, let's just say, did any of us think Spirit's TA could possibly be this bad???

Congratulations. You KNOW what you now have, don't listen to the company spin.

Congratulations! All we need is for some guy who just left to snail mail Robin, the Board of Directors, and all investors directly telling them why you left, echoing all the issues many have identified on APC. If we want change, it's things like this that need to be done.

The truth of the matter is that the *only* power BJ pilots have is the physical act of going on strike. "Negotiations" are not yielding results.

In any case, I'm really happy for you. I have several friends at LUV and their pilots fight hard for their benefits and QOL. Their pilots seem to be very good at fighting for their benefits and compensation. In fact, a senior LUV pilot has been my mentor regarding industry politics. He coined the phrase "paid what you're worth" and I can't think of a better slogan for compensation.

Seriously dude. Don't be a male private part. It's great he is going to a place that puts this place to shame. I wish they would buy us. Guys I know that work there love it, have plenty of time off and the fos make more than most our captains.

I was never going to quit JB for SWA, then I realized that of the 18 or so guys I know who were hired there, 3 left for DAL or UA in their first 6 months, everybody else took the job and never looked back. They are very happy there. None of them have apps in at JB.

You also don’t need to defend your decision to people on the Internet man. Who knows where it will all come out but you were not happy and you did something about it.

I’m not defending it so much as providing my train of thought for anybody on the fence about leaving for SWA.
