Just show the Yes-voters the latest messages from the FAA & ALPA and BJ's subsequent response. Please go read the other thread about the FAA statement carefully. If there is ever a doubt why we need a 100% legal-proof TA, this is it. It shows that BJ lawyers everything to their advantage. There is no reason to believe that BJ won't exploit every legal loophole in TA 1.0, and there are a boatload of them (positive contact, medical review, commuting policy, dependability policy, etc.). TA 1.0 is legally dangerous for us to sign up to.
This communique is for entertainment purposes only. It does not implicitly or explicitly acknowledge employment with any air carrier nor is any relationship implied. This communique does not represent the opinions or policies of ALPA or JB ALPA and does not represent the collective pilot group, ALPA, nor does it imply collective bargaining, advocacy, or workforce actions intended to disrupt operations.

Fixed it for you. You also left out the part where missed commutes count against your "dependability". Also missing is the section where the chief pilot can intimidate you if you miss "too many".
The whole point of a commuter clause is to clarify what is an adequate attempt to get to work. In NO OTHER AIRLINE is there anything following the first sentence in that paragraph. If you follow the policy you are safe. End of story.
Except at Jetblew.
At least now no one can blame the company for these abuses. We can look only at ourselves. (Well, really the yes voters.)

They can and will lie to you in the cockpit and will play to your Napoleon complex to make you feel good, all the while thinking you have friends that get it and are smart like you rather than the dumb idiots we are if we don’t vote like you.
At the end of the day you will never know...I repeat you will never know how any one of us voted.....BOOM!.....Let that resonate for a second.
Sleep well POS.

Something even the "super high speed" NC and "market rate or bust" MEC couldn't be bothered to do.
